This tutorial will walk you through how to create an image recognizer app that can be made in less than 5 minutes. You take a picture and the app tells you what is in the picture.
Step 1. Sign in to Thunkable
Step 2. Create a new app, named “Image Recognition”.
Step 3. Drag a button and image component into your app.
Step 4. Drag a camera component into your app.
To unlock the code for taking pictures, we need to add the camera component.
Step 5. Code the app to display an image from the camera.
When the button is clicked we want to prompt the user to take a photo.
Then we set the Image1 component to display the photo.
Step 6. Test the app.
Remember, to test the app you need to click “Live Test” on the website and then open the Thunkable Live app on your phone.
Step 7. Add a label and image recognizer component.
Step 8. Add the image recognizer’s code block and change the labels text to recognizer’s description.
Step 9. Now test the app!
